This is a steampunk version of an 1860 Le Mat black powder revolver. It was popular with the Confederate troops during the Civil War. The original fired 9- .41 caliber black powder balls and had a 20 gauge barrel as well for buckshot or a slug.
It weighs approximately 3 lbs. 112 oz. and is 16" long with an antique pewter finish.
Various gears and findings have been added to give it a Steampunk feel.
An actual working brass monocular is mounted to the top side with copper supports.
An aether nozzle has been added to the barrel of the gun
Very stout, very nice replica.
This is a non firing replica.
